TWINKIES: DEFINED

NOVEMBER 2019

A conceptual long-copy poster featuring the dictionary definition of a quintessential American snack, the beloved and resilient Twinkie. While I am Canadian myself, I saw the topic of immigration and the Twinkies brand as symbols of America and the American Dream.

To visually express this patriotism, I used red and blue as well as the same typeface found in the U.S. Declaration of Independence. The frame pattern is a hint to the endless knot, a common motif in historical East Asian art. Lastly, this project was made as a full-wall wrap designed for subway stations.
